Course Info

Purpose

This course is designed for familiarization with all the necessary actions and procedures you need to follow as a lifeboat passenger, in case of an actual abandon ship situation. Aim of the course is to inform you on how to act in an emergency situation, in order to achieve a safe and a fast evacuation.

The course is conducted as e-learning.

Content

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to recognize the main elements of a totally enclosed conventional lifeboat, how to behave and what to do during an emergency and what instructions you will need to follow by the lifeboat crew during mustering, launching of the lifeboat and maneuvering away to safety.

Target group

All expected lifeboat passengers with no assigned lifeboat duties in an emergency situation.
