Course Info

Purpose

The HydroPen e-learning is designed for crew members onboard cargo vessels. This in-depth training focus on crew with designated roles in regards to the operation and/or maintenance of the HydroPen System.

Structure

The course is delivered as e-learning entirely.

Content

Participants for this training will be instructed in the following: • Parts and features of HydroPen System including Drilling Unit, Lift and HydroLock • The use of HydroCO2, Foam and water. • Maintenance requirements for vital parts of the HydroPen drilling unit and the Lift • Full deployment of the HydroPen System on a container stack with both the Lift and the HydroLock • Water drilling with training drill • Decommissioning of the HydroPen System • Dismantling and assembling of the HydroPen Drilling Unit and the Lift during maintenance.

Target group

Seafarers onboard Cargo vessels that are equipped with HydroPen Systems.
