Purpose

According to IMO's Resolution MSC.428 (98), shipowners should through their safety management systems account for cyber risk management in compliance with the ISM code. This means integrating cyber risk into their safety management system by developing and implementing onboard procedures and mitigation measures. This ought to be implemented by January 1st 2021. This Cyber Security Awareness course is designed to help individuals and companies cope with cyber risks by informing about cyber attacks and their consequences. ​After completing the course, the participant will be prepared to safeguard from possible cyber threats.
