Purpose

The aim of the course is to instruct and train the participant in how to activate and operate the VES-DD system during an evacuation.

The course is conducted as e-learning.

Content

This course guides you through the main elements of the VES-DD system. You will learn how to operate the VES-DD system, and how to guide and instruct evacuees. The course is divided into different roles split between task holders. A colored cap on the instruction pages indicate which crew member is responsible for the task.

Target group

General crew members onboard passenger vessels using the VES-DD evacuation systems.
